Here are a bunch of links of what other newspapers have on the situation. Warning: Most of these articles have the same information.

Norm Wood has a story for the Daily Press with quotes from the team. Although, it looks as if everyone has been instructed to stay mum on the situation.

Roanoke Times’ Randy King was all over this story.

ESPN’s Heather Dinich breaks down the situation and what the Hokies will try to do.

Here’s a blog post from Virginia Pilot writer Kyle Tucker. Here are quotes from practice on Tuesday as well.

And, ESPN, with help from the AP.

Projected Virginia Tech starting wide receiver and Holy Spirit graduate Zach Luckett has been suspended from the team indefinitely.
He was arrested for DUI in Blacksburg, Va., on early Sunday morning. It was his second offense in five years, according to a police spokesperson.
Hokies’ head coach Frank Beamer made the announcement at Monday’s practice and did not have further comment.
According to Blacksburg police spokesperson Sgt. Nathan O’Dell, the arresting officer witnessed Luckett, 20, back into a dumpster in a white Mercury Mountaineer and didn’t examine the damage.
Luckett, a Mays Landing resident, was pulled over and failed a field sobriety test. He was taken to the police station where he registered a 0.16 blood-alcohol level, twice the legal limit.
This is Luckett’s second DUI offense in Virginia and he was also charged with driving with a revoked license.
As a result, the vehicle, which was registered to a family member, has been impounded for at least 30 days. He faces a mandatory $500 fine and one-month jail sentence if convicted. He could spend as much as a year in jail, but would serve no less than 20 days if convicted because it’s his second offense in five years. Luckett was held on a $2,500 unsecured bond.
Luckett has had other problems with the Blacksburg police. He was charged and fined with public urination in Sept. of 2006 and in March, he was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, but the charge was later dismissed.
According  to a previous report in The Press, Luckett had been suspended from Holy Spirit’s basketball team for disciplinary reasons his senior season.
Luckett, 6-foot-3, 212 pounds, was a first-team Press all-star his senior season after rushing for more than 700 yards. At Virginia Tech’s first scrimmage, Luckett was listed first on the depth chart of the receiving position.
The redshirt sophomore was looking at a breakout season with the Hokies. He was one of two returning wideouts, and the only one to play in every game last season. In 14 games, he caught two passes for 15 yards and registered 15 tackles on special teams.
The Hokies are ranked No. 17 in the AP’s preseason poll.

- Zach Luckett has a way to go before Virginia Tech gets on the field for its first game. A redshirt sophomore, he’s the most experienced wideout on the team, however, that doesn’t translate into any guarantees. He hasn’t had much playing time, so he doesn’t really have that much of an advantage over the freshmen in camp. One thing working in Luckett’s favor is that he understands the stakes this season. There is a blurb about Luckett in the Washington Post.

- Last season, Brandon Bullock was an academic non-qualifier for Marshall. The Charleston Daily Mall has a story on the Bullock and three others who in the same position. Check it out here.

- Miami’s Dwayne Hendricks did not dress in the team’s scrimmage because of injury. There is a little blurb in this story.

According to the Palm Beach Post, Myron Rolle had to be carted off the field on Friday with a minor heat-related injury. He was listed as probably for today’s scrimmage.

- New Hampshire has a couple of local players and both can make an impact this season. John Clements, a senior from St. Joe’s, was the linebacker last season. According to this article in the Seacoast, Clements may move to free safety. Kevin Peters, also a St. Joe grad, but from Pleasantville, is fighting for the defensive end. However, Peters is also competing with two other juniors and a redshirt freshman. You can find that info in the same article.

- Zach Luckett is going to have an interesting season. He is the only veteran wide receiver on the team, which means two things. He is either going to get a lot of playing time or he could get passed over by some freshmen. Luckett doesn’t have too much experience over the past couple of years, this could be a make or break year for him. Here are a couple of comments from the Hampton Roads.com Virginia Tech blog.

- Marshall’s Brandon Bullock, an Absegami graduate, had to sit out last season as an acadmic non-qualifier. He came back to spring this year weighing 355 and he needs to drop about 20-30 pounds from there. However, Bullock could make an immediate impact this season. Check out the Charleston Daily Mail for more information.

- There is no doubt that St. Joseph graduate Richard White is going to be a big deal at Southern Illinois, Carbondale this season. He is just a sophomore and carried a great deal in a shortened season because of his multiple transfers. However, White will also be one of the new kick returners, according to Championship Subdivision News.com. His team has a good shot at winning a title this year.

- Finally, here’s a look at Scranton Times Union’s Donnie Collins predicted the depth chart for Penn State. Cedric Jeffries is considered the second string strong safety.

Jack Corcoran had a rough season last year. He lost the starting job, then regained it back. However, he never felt comfortable in that role. He was disappointed in the season, himself and what transpired around him. Here is an article from Keith Sargeant of The Home News Tribune (as seen in the Asbury Park Press) about Corcoran and his aspirations this season.

Galloway resident Myron Rolle rolled his ankle in practice and is listed as day-to-day (aren’t we all?).

Bleedscarlet mentions the fullback battle at Rutgers between Jack Corcoran and Andres Morales. as in the past, Corcoran has pulled ahead of Morales. Corcoran is much more of a pass-ctching threat than probably any of the other full backs on the team. His biggest weakness is his blocking duties, which he is constantly working on.

After just two-and-a-half years, Galloway Township resident Myron Rolle has graduated from Florida State. He missed practice yesterday because he was participating in graduation ceremonies. Now, the pre-med major will continue his education in graduate studies while being the rover for the Seminoles. He has just a junoir standing when it comes to football, but there is a question on whether he will play next year or go to the NFL.

witherspoon.jpgAnd, don’t expect to see him anytime soon either. According to published reports coming out of Michigan camp, Holy Spirit graduate Marcus Witherspoon is at home right doing course work, hoping to become academically eligible once the school session starts.

He won’t be at camp for at least a month it seems, and if he doesn’t become eligible, well, it will be a lot longer than that. Witherspoon was recuited by the Wolverines, but when Lloyd Carr stepped down and West Virginia’s Rich Rodriguez took over, he opened his options again. He looked at Rutgers and one other school, but ultimately decided to stick with Michigan.
